4 years agoWashington Wizards guard Russell Westbrook may have been in a new uniform, but the player looked the same. Westbrook tallied 21 points, 15 assists, and 11 rebounds on 41 percent shooting from the field as he donned the Washington uniform for the first time in a loss to Philadelphia. He became the first Wizards/Bullets player to record a triple-double in a season-opener. Westbrook's turnover problems did pop up, as he had six in the game, though that is just nit-picking what was an excellent overall game for him from a fantasy standpoint. The former MVP will be back in action on Saturday night against the Magic, a strong defensive team last season.--Tim Capurso
