6 years agoOklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook (knee) will not play in the regular season opener against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday. Westbrook is still coming back from surgery and was listed as doubtful for this game last week. It's not surprising to see Westbrook sitting this one out. There is still a small chance that Westbrook magically is cleared to play by game time, but that's highly unlikely. Fantasy owners should prepare to be without Westbrook for this one. Dennis Schroder would likely draw the start at point guard and see a boost in usage.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
