Ryan McMahon Stays Hot, Blasts Fifth Home Run On Saturday
4 years agoColorado Rockies second baseman Ryan McMahon went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and two strikeouts in a 4-3 loss to the San Francisco Giants on Saturday. McMahon took San Francisco starter Logan Webb deep in the top of the fifth inning to give the Rockies a 3-1 advantage. He also picked up a single in the game and struck out twice. The 26-year-old is now tied with Tyler Naquin for the Major League lead with five home runs. He's off to a phenomenal start this season with a .333/.353/.848 batting line to go along with the five home runs and nine RBI across 33 at-bats. Fantasy managers also have to be pleased that he's started 8-of-9 games and should continue to see everyday plate appearances as long as he's swinging a hot bat.
