Ryan Mountcastle Not Playing Thursday Against Cards
3 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman Ryan Mountcastle (wrist) is not in the starting lineup on Thursday against the St. Louis Cardinals. Mountcastle is considered day-to-day and will miss his second straight game due to a sore left wrist. Hopefully the 25-year-old slugger will be available over the weekend for his fantasy managers. Through his first 28 games this year, he's hitting .268/.299/.402 with four home runs, 16 RBI, 10 runs scored and two stolen bases in 117 plate appearances. Trey Mancini is starting at the cold corner and is hitting third on Thursday, while Tyler Nevin is in left field and is batting fifth against Cardinals left-hander Steven Matz.
