7 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Ryan Yarbrough is scheduled to make his second start of the season Friday, facing the Toronto Blue Jays at home. However, if the need arises Wednesday, he could still be used in relief. So far in 2018, Yarbrough has made seven appearances for the Rays, striking out 16 in 19 1/3 innings. His only start prior to this was a 4 2/3-inning performance at home against Philadelphia. In that outing, he had two strikeouts, two walks and two earned runs. We do not expect Yarbrough to go deep into the game if he does start Friday. Therefore, he has extremely limited value for fantasy owners in any format.--Ben Rolfe
