4 years agoKansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez hit his first home run of the season in the first inning of Saturday's game against the Cleveland Indians. It was a solo shot and his only hit of the day as he went 1-for-4. Perez missed nearly the entirety of the 2019 after undergoing Tommy John surgery, but he was amongst the most productive and consistent fantasy catchers in the game before then, tallying over 20 home runs four straight years from 2015 to 2018. He could finish as a top-5 catcher this season and needs to be owned and started in all leagues.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
