3 years agoSam Burns needed that WGC results two weeks ago. He finished tied for second and nearly won. Liberty National rewards golfers who can putt well but work around the greens well. Well, Burns has one of those two. He putts great ranking 14th in strokes gained at 0.535. He makes 4.35 birdies per round which ranks 5th. The American has been up and down over the past couple of months. He withdrew from the PGA, blew up at The Open, and yet contended at The Travelers. Again, Burns has to keep an even keel and avoid trouble with his approaches to the green. If he can do that, he has a shot to stay around on Sunday.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
