3 years agoSam Burns has three top-22 finishes over his last four starts and is set to make his debut at Pebble Beach this week. Length off the tee will be important, and Burns ranks ninth in driving distance. He also takes advantage of the par-5's, ranking 26th in scoring average on those holes. Burns has continued to improve with his putter, ranking 16th in 3-putt avoidance and 33rd in birdie conversion percentage. He definitely carries some risk considering he tends to be inconsistent, and this is his first appearance at Pebble Beach. However, the course sets up well for him if he can continue to take advantage of big drives and keep the putter rolling.--Connor Wege
