Sandy Alcantara Pitches Complete Game On Sunday
3 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Sandy Alcantara pitched his first complete game of the year in the team's 4-3 win over the Atlanta Braves on Sunday. He allowed six hits, two walks and three runs (all unearned) while striking out seven. Alcantara is known for his ability to pitch deep into games. He'd already had two eight-inning outings this year before Sunday's gem. The 26-year-old is now 4-2 on the year with a 2.11 ERA. He'll face the Braves once again in his next start on Saturday.
