Sebastian Munoz Looks To Continue Strong Play
2 years agoMake it 10 made cuts in a row for Sebastian Munoz. He finished 25th at the RBC Canadian Open last week, extending his made-cut-streak to double digits. There really isn't anything that Munoz is not doing well right now. He is driving the ball very well and is locked in with his irons. If there was one area of concern, it would be his around-the-green play. He has lost strokes around the green in three of his last six events, which is not ideal heading to a venue which will require players to rely on their short game. The other issue is his lack of results at major championships. He has missed the cut in three of his last four starts at majors, including a missed cut at the U.S. Open at Torrey Pines last year. He is fairly priced on DFS and with a loaded field, he probably will not attract much attention in DFS formats. The lack of major success is a tad concerning, but Munoz is playing too well to be ignored and could be in line for a career-best finish at a major.
