5 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward Sekou Doumbouya made his second career start during Saturday’s win over the Golden State Warriors and collected a double-double for the second straight outing. With the duo of Blake Griffin and Markieff Morris both out of the mix, Doumbouya saw a whopping 38 minutes, which saw him shoot 6-for-10 overall, including 4-for-7 from long range, finishing with 16 points to go along with 10 rebounds. The team snagged the 19-year-old with the 15th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, which means that he’ll have a future role with the team (especially if Andre Drummond is traded), but his short-term value is entirely dependent upon Griffin and Morris’ respective statuses entering play Sunday.--Jesse Borek
