6 years agoToronto Raptors power forward/center Serge Ibaka continued to rebound the ball at an elite level as the big man recorded his 14th double-double of the campaign in a tight win over the Nets. Ibaka scored 18 points on 9-for-13 shooting and added 12 rebounds with two blocked shots and a steal in just 26 minutes of action. Ibaka got the start in this one with Marc Gasol playing 22 back-up minutes to Ibaka. So far, it looks like coach Nurse is going to be using Gasol in a similar role as Jonas Valanciunas when he was healthy. Ibaka has played 27.5 minutes a night in Gasol's first two games, which is not much less than what he was playing prior to the trade.--Gianni Costantiello
