Serge Ibaka Scores Season-High 25 Points In Victory
5 years agoToronto Raptors forward/center Serge Ibaka recorded his third double-double of the season in Wednesday's 112-99 victory over the Pistons, finishing with a season-high 25 points and 13 rebounds on 10-for-18 shooting from the field in 30 minutes. The 30-year-old was effective in a variety of ways, with season-highs in field goals made attempted while filling in at the center position in the second half. Marc Gasol (leg) was injured midway through the first quarter and did not return to the game as a result of hamstring tightness. Ibaka took over with the starting unit and logged his second highest minute total of the season at 30:50, while producing efficiently on the offensive end. The veteran big man is a must-start fantasy candidate if Gasol is sidelined — with the significance of the injury currently unknown.
