3 years agoThe Arizona Diamondbacks optioned designated hitter Seth Beer to Triple-A Reno on Sunday. In a corresponding move, right-handed pitcher Sean Poppen (shoulder) was activated from the injured list. Beer hit a game-winning home run on Opening Day, but that's been the only time he's left the yard so far this season. Over 27 games, he's slashing .210/.301/.284 with nine RBI and four runs scored. The 25-year-old had a .909 OPS at Triple-A last year as he racked up 16 home runs and 33 doubles over 100 games. If he can tap back into that type of production while he's at Triple-A this year, we could see him back in the majors again soon.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
