Shabazz Napier Buries Four Triples Amid 22-Point Outing
5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point/shooting guard Shabazz Napier led his team in scoring for the second consecutive game with 22 points during Wednesday’s loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. Without Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins or Jeff Teague active, Napier stepped into starting duties once again and finished 7-for-13 from the field overall and tied his season high with four made triples. In addition to his scoring output, he tied another season high by snatching six rebounds, while adding three assists. So long as he keys the Minnesota offense, he holds immense short-term value, especially with a favorable matchup Thursday versus a Golden State defense that has yielded fantasy points in bunches to opposing guards this season.
