6 years agoBrooklyn Nets point/shooting guard Shabazz Napier has been given the green light to suit up Wednesday versus the Houston Rockets, having been listed as questionable since the day prior due to left hamstring tightness. Napier’s absence was a brief one-game stint, looking to keep stoking the offensive fire he has found coming primarily off the bench for Brooklyn, averaging 14.9 points per game over his last eight contests, including a 32-point outburst. He isn’t likely to usurp D'Angelo Russell or Spencer Dinwiddie anytime soon, although head coach Kenny Atkinson’s rotations could tilt in Napier’s favor on a moments notice.--Jesse Borek
