5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Shabazz Napier will be held out of Friday’s game against the Golden State Warriors due a hamstring injury that has cost him each of his team’s past two outings. With both Napier and Jeff Teague (illness) sidelined, the team will have to get creative at point guard again with Andrew Wiggins and Jarrett Culver expected to take on an expanded role. With Napier out, Jordan McLaughlin saw 22 minutes off the bench Wednesday, although his DFS impact may be limited. Napier’s next chance to suit up comes Sunday versus Denver.--Jesse Borek
