Shaedon Sharpe Sustains Labral Tear, Out At Least 2 Weeks
2 years agoPortland Trail Blazers point/shooting guard Shaedon Sharpe (shoulder) will be shut down for the next 10-14 days reportedly due to a slight left labral tear, per Shams Charania of The Athletic. Sharpe played just six minutes in his Summer League debut Thursday and shot 1-for-3 from the floor overall. Chosen with the seventh overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, Sharpe has been hailed as one of the biggest question marks among the rookie class due to his missed season of action while at Kentucky. The 19-year-old is on track to serve as a key reserve for Portland to open the year, but his latest ailment could complicate those plans.
