5 years agoOklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was not at his sharpshooting best on Monday night versus the Dallas Mavericks. Gilgeous-Alexander shot the ball 20 times, but only made five of his attempts. He is now 8-for-34 over his last two games, but it's too early to declare it a slump. Despite the ugly shooting performance, SGA still recorded 16 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and one block in 32 minutes. The sophomore guard and his teammates were without veteran leader Chris Paul due to personal reasons, but SGA didn't thrive without his running mate. OKC plays the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night, and SGA will hope that he can turn this recent shooting trend around.--Euan Leith
