5 years agoOklahoma City Thunder point/shooting guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander continued his ascension up the fantasy ranks during Friday’s win over the Atlanta Hawks, taking advantage of the increased tempo to load up his stat sheet. While he shot 7-for-16 from the field, he attempted a career-high 13 free throws, which led to 24 points. He tossed in six assists, three rebounds and three blocks across his game-high 37 minutes. Having already recorded four of his five double-doubles this season in January, Gilgeous-Alexander has dropped at least 20 points in nine of 13 contests this month. He will be back in action Saturday against Minnesota, whom he logged his first career triple-double against on Jan. 13.--Jesse Borek
