Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Posts First Career Triple-Double
5 years agoOklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander posted 20 points, 20 rebounds, 10 assists, two triples, and a block in a 117-104 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. The rebounds and assists were both career-highs and helped Gilgeous-Alexander to the first triple-double of his young career. The 21-year-old has been on a tear in January, with averages of 20.7 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.0 steals per game on 53.9 percent shooting from the field. Gilgeous-Alexander could be due for even better numbers, considering his three-point shot hasn't been good during this stretch. Up next for the former Kentucky Wildcat is a Wednesday matchup with the Toronto Raptors, who just allowed 25 points to DeMar DeRozan.
