4 years agoOklahoma City Thunder point/shooting guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (knee) has been ruled out for Tuesday's contest against Portland, although head coach Mark Daigneault has indicated that a return may not be far off. Gilgeous-Alexander is in the midst of a potential All-Star season, averaging 22.6 points, 6.5 assists, and 5.5 rebounds per contest, all while shooting 50.6 percent from the field overall. His absence has allowed a large number of minutes and shot attempts to be funneled toward Hamidou Diallo, Kenrich Williams, and Luguentz Dort, all of whom figure to continue playing pivotal roles Tuesday. Gilgeous-Alexander's next chance to suit up comes Wednesday versus the Grizzlies.--Jesse Borek
