3 years agoOklahoma City Thunder point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's contest against the Hawks due to a sprained right ankle. The absence will be the first of the season for Gilgeous-Alexander, who has struggled mightily from the field over his past four games (27.4% overall). Without their leading scorer active, the Thunder have tabbed Josh Giddey as their point guard, elevating his DFS ceiling considerably. Gilgeous-Alexander will be day to day moving forward, while OKC will have to find a way to replace his 20.4 points, 5.1 boards and 4.4 assists of nightly production.--Jesse Borek
