Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Will Miss Wednesday’s Contest
4 years agoOklahoma City Thunder point/shooting guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game versus Houston due to a sprained left knee. With George Hill (thumb) also unavailable, Theo Maledon figures to see a massive workload, while Hamidou Diallo should draw added DFS intrigue at the two-guard spot. The absence will be the first of the season for Gilgeous-Alexander, who leads OKC in scoring at 21.8 PPG. On pace for a potential All-Star campaign, it's the first that managers are hearing of any knee issues for the 22-year-old, with his next chance to return to action coming Friday against the Timberwolves.
