3 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Shane Baz (elbow) will make his season debut as the team's starting pitcher for Saturday's game against the Minnesota Twins, according to Rays manager Kevin Cash. Baz underwent surgery on his right elbow back in March and he's been working his way back ever since. He made four rehab starts at Triple-A over the past month and performed well. Across 13 innings, he allowed eight hits, four walks and two earned runs while striking out 20. The 22-year-old has immense upside and is worth rostering in all fantasy leagues. The team may limit his innings over the next few weeks, but he has the potential to be a difference-maker for fantasy managers during the latter half of the 2022 season.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
