2 years agoVeteran reliever Shane Greene has cleared waivers and he has chosen to head back into free agency rather than accept his outright assignment from the New York Yankees. Green was designated for assignment by the Yankees this past week. This was his second stint with the Pinstripes and it didn't last long. He signed with the Yankees a few months back after he was designated for assignment by the Los Angeles Dodgers. He made just one appearance with the Yankees this year and allowed two earned runs over one inning.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
