6 years agoGolden State Warriors point guard Shaun Livingston will be getting a head start on his All-Star break following Tuesday’s game versus the Utah Jazz, as head coach Steve Kerr announced that Livingston will be held out Wednesday against the Portland Trail Blazers due to rest. The 33-year-old Livingston will likely see his minutes absorbed by youngster Quinn Cook, who has filled in admirably during spurts. Averaging just 15.3 minutes per game, Livingston doesn’t factor into many season-long fantasy leagues, but his absence could allow for a slight minutes uptick for Stephen Curry and the aforementioned Cook.--Jesse Borek
