Spencer Dinwiddie, Davis Bertans Head To Dallas In Trade
3 years agoWashington Wizards point guard Spencer Dinwiddie and power forward Davis Bertans are reportedly joining the Dallas Mavericks in a deal made just prior to the trade deadline on Thursday. In exchange, Washington is set to receive former All-Star Kristaps Porzingis. Dinwiddie delivered solid production in his first year as a Wizard, averaging 12.6 points, 5.8 assists and 4.7 rebounds per game, but he struggled from the field overall to the tune of a 37.6% shooting percentage. Bertans, who averaged 3.3 made triples per game over the prior two seasons, fell out of Washington's rotation this season and has averaged just 5.7 points per game. Both players are under contract for at least the next two years.
