3 years agoWashington Wizards point guard Spencer Dinwiddie and power forward Davis Bertans are reportedly joining the Dallas Mavericks in a deal made just prior to the trade deadline on Thursday. In exchange, Washington is set to receive former All-Star Kristaps Porzingis. Dinwiddie delivered solid production in his first year as a Wizard, averaging 12.6 points, 5.8 assists and 4.7 rebounds per game, but he struggled from the field overall to the tune of a 37.6% shooting percentage. Bertans, who averaged 3.3 made triples per game over the prior two seasons, fell out of Washington's rotation this season and has averaged just 5.7 points per game.
