6 years agoBrooklyn Nets point/shooting guard Spencer Dinwiddie went off for a career-high 39-point performance during Wednesday’s win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Coming off the bench, Dinwiddie set his new career best mark on just 18 shots, going 13-for-14 from the free-throw line while knocking down four threes. With Caris Levert sidelined, Dinwiddie has taken on an increased scoring role for Brooklyn, his ability on full display Wednesday. He draws a golden opportunity for a repeat performance Friday against the Washington Wizards, who are tied for the most fantasy points allowed per game this season against opposing point guards.--Jesse Borek
