Spencer Dinwiddie Paces Squad With 24-Point Effort
5 years agoBrooklyn Nets point/shooting guard Spencer Dinwiddie dropped a team-high 24 points in Wednesday’s loss to the Charlotte Hornets. With Kyrie Irving still out of the picture, Dinwiddie has embraced his role as the No. 1 scoring option, while continuing to contribute across other categories, adding six assists and five rebounds as well. The consistency from Dinwiddie has made him a top tier fantasy play, as he has scored at least 20 points in 11 of his last 13 games -- even in the two games in which he failed to hit that mark, he was still able to log a double-double. So far as Irving is out, owners can continue deploying Dinwiddie with the utmost confidence.
