3 years agoFree-agent guard Spencer Dinwiddie will meet with the Wizards on Monday. With the Lakers, Bulls, and Heat already locking up its starting point guards, Dinwiddie is running out of options. Brooklyn also holds most of the cards regarding his future, primarily since the team has "Bird Rights," so a sign-and-trade agreement may be his best option from a fiscal perspective. The 28-year-old veteran suffered a partial ACL tear in his right knee and nearly missed the entire 2020-21 campaign. But, if given a more prominent role with another club, his upside will be higher than ever.
