4 years agoDetroit Tigers pitcher Spencer Turnbull started his season off strong against the Cincinnati Reds on Sunday. He pitched five innings, allowing three hits, four walks and one earned run while striking out eight. The four walks are certainly concerning, but the rest of his line is extremely encouraging. Turnbull only got one run of support from the Tigers and left the game with a 1-1 score. Run support will be a problem all year for Turnbull, but he could be a sneaky fantasy option in deep leagues given the right matchups.
