6 years agoDetroit Pistons small forward Stanley Johnson scored 16 points in Saturday night's loss to the Boston Celtics. Johnson, who reached double figures for the second time in four games, had his most efficient shooting game on the young season, knocking down six of 11 shots overall and three of eight from long distance. He also contributed three rebounds, two assists along with a steal. While the last two games have to be encouraging, the 22-year-old has never been a good shooter and he now seems intent on chucking up three-pointers at an unprecedented rate. Johnson appears engrained in the Pistons starting lineup for the time being, so expect him to put up similar numbers to his current season average of 8.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists going forward.--Daniel Benjamin
