3 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Starling Marte (quad) is scheduled to have an MRI on his left quad on Wednesday. According to Jon Heyman, the Mets are expecting for Marte to require a stint on the 10-day injured list. Marte exited Tuesday's game with what was described as left quad tightness. If he indeed winds up missing time, Mark Canha and Nick Plummer stand to benefit most. Marte has slashed .277/.316/.441 over 50 games this year while racking up seven home runs, eight stolen bases, 33 RBI and 36 runs.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
