Stefon Diggs Has WR2 Potential Against Eagles
5 years agoMinnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs has had a rough start to the season as he has totaled just one touchdown and one game with over 50 receiving yards. The Philadelphia Eagles and their forgiving secondary await in Week 6, and Diggs should be able to take advantage of potential matchups with Orlando Scandrick and Rasul Douglas. The Eagles have let five receivers eclipse 100 yards and have also already allowed five receivers to post at least 22 PPR-points against them. Diggs received seven targets in both of the games that the Vikings were forced to throw (@GB, @CHI), and this game projects to stay close (Vikings are currently three point favorites). Diggs should probably be viewed as more of a WR3 given his production to this point, but his winnable matchup, higher projected passing game volume, and the whole "squeaky-wheel" narrative elevate him to WR2 status in Week 6.
