4 years agoGolden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry went for 53 points in Monday's 116-107 win over Denver, passing Wilt Chamberlain for the most points in franchise history. He moved past Chamberlain in the opening quarter, notching 21 points. Curry finished with 12-for-24 shooting from the field and was 15-for-16 at the foul line, with a 10-for-18 mark from downtown. He grabbed six rebounds and delivered four assists with five turnovers in 36 minutes. The two-time MVP is currently going all out to keep his team in playoff contention, averaging close to 40 points for the month on 46.2 percent shooting from downtown.
