Stephen Curry Is Averaging Seven Triples In January
6 years agoGolden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is having a fabulous January. Curry poured in 31 points on 10-for-18 shooting from the field and 8-for-13 from the three-point line in Tuesday's victory over the Nuggets. The 30-year-old also grabbed six rebounds, dished out four assists and committed three turnovers in 31 minutes. He scored 17 of his points in the third quarter as knocked down six of nine shots, including four of five from long distance. The 10th-year pro has now produced a minimum of 25 points, four assists and five rebounds in eight of his last nine outings. Curry, who is making seven trifectas at 46.7 percent clip in January, has made more three-pointers (24) than missed (19) over the last three games. The Davidson product and the Warriors face the Pelicans on Thursday, who he exploded for 37 points as he drained seven three-pointers and doled out nine dimes in the teams first meeting.
