Stephen Curry, Kelly Oubre Jr. Doubtful For Friday
4 years agoGolden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry (back) and small/power forward Kelly Oubre Jr. (foot) have been deemed doubtful to play in Friday's game versus Memphis. Curry departed Wednesday's game early due to the injury and was unable to practice Thursday, neither of which bodes well for his immediate status. Nico Mannion and Jordan Poole would likely stand to see the largest increases in backcourt playing time, while Draymond Green's assists potential would skyrocket in the likely case that Curry is unavailable. Oubre's absence would mark just his third of the year and pave the way for Kent Bazemore, Damion Lee and Juan Toscano-Anderson to see elevated roles and offensive usage. Barring a last-minute change, fantasy managers can anticipate Green and Andrew Wiggins leading the way for Golden State on Friday.
