6 years agoGolden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry keyed his team to victory with a 33-point effort in Saturday’s win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. With no Kevin Durant in the mix, Curry was able to fire up 23 shot attempts, knocking down 10, including five from behind the three-point line. He added seven rebounds, three assists and two steals, keeping his production high down the stretch of the season. He next faces the San Antonio Spurs on Monday, who have kept him in check to the tune of 20.2 points per game for his career, his second-lowest total against any opponent in the league. But should Durant remain out, look for Curry to continue seeing a slightly increased role.--Jesse Borek
