Stephen Curry Looks To Cut Down On Turnovers Versus Trail Blazers
6 years agoGolden State Warriors have lost two straight and have had their issues on the defensive end and consistency this season. One player who has been really good, not surprisingly, has been point guard Stephen Curry. Curry is coming off another 20-point outing as he poured in 29 points against Portland on Thursday, although the 30-year-old made just 11 of 26 shots from the floor with six of the makes coming on 15 attempts beyond the arc. It was his 11th game of scoring at least 20 points in the last 13 outings. He also grabbed five rebounds and doled out seven assists, but he did turn the ball over a season-high tying seven times. The 10th-year pro is in the midst of the second-best offensive season of his career. However, his 5.2 assists a game are a career-worst as is his assist-to-turnover ratio (1.72). Curry will look to extend his streak of consecutive games of at least one three-pointer and one steal to 14 straight games versus the Blazers on Saturday night.
