2 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Stephen Piscotty (calf) will be joining the team in New York on Tuesday. The A's are slated for a three-game series against the Yankees beginning on Monday. Once Piscotty joins the team, it will be determined when he will be activated from the injured list. There's a chance he'll be activated on Tuesday, but he may need another day or so. Piscotty has been out with a left calf strain since early May. The 31-year-old only managed to appear in 14 games this year before sustaining the injury. Over those 14 games, he slashed .225/.340/.325 with one home run, two stolen bases, three RBI and four runs.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
