6 years agoOklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams was close to his third consecutive double-double on Sunday, managing eight points and nine rebounds against the Hawks. He had averaged 15.5 points and 12.5 rebounds per game in the first two preseason outings, so it was a bit of a letdown that he missed the DD this time, especially as he played a team-high 30 minutes. His usage rate dropped dramatically though, as Adams had only five shot attempts after averaging 13 ahead of the game. He finished 2-for-5 from the floor and 4-for-6 from the charity stripe while polishing off his fantasy line with three assists, one block, and one steal.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
