5 years agoOklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams recorded 13 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, three blocks, and one steal in a 117-104 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Adams put up his 16th double-double of the year and boosted his numbers with his highest assist and block totals of the month. It's been an excellent New Year for the big man from New Zealand so far, who has averaged 14 points, 12.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.1 blocks, and 1.0 steals per game on 60.3 percent shooting from the field. Adams has even been serviceable from the charity stripe. Adams could be active on the glass on Wednesday against a Raptors team that has allowed the fourth-most rebounds per game in the NBA.--Tim Capurso
