4 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans center Steven Adams produced his first double-double of the season in a blowout victory over his former team, the Thunder. Adams got some measure of revenge, notching season-highs in points and rebounds while blocking a shot for the fifth consecutive game. The 27-year-old isn't a threat from the three-point line and won't attempt many free-throws, though he has the potential to flirt with double-doubles on many nights for a team thin on frontcourt depth. Adams will get a day off before a Friday matchup with the Raptors, who held him under 10 points in two games last year, though that was with Marc Gasol in the lineup.--Tim Capurso
