5 years agoOklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams will miss Friday’s game versus the Miami Heat due to a right knee contusion. Adams was forced from Wednesday’s contest against Toronto due to the ailment, so there’s little surprise that Oklahoma City would play it safe with their defensive anchor. With Nerlens Noel set to rejoin the rotation, the team has a built-in replacement at the center slot for Adams, whose next chance at taking the floor comes Saturday against Portland on the second leg of a back-to-back.--Jesse Borek
