6 years agoOklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams struggled to contain his old buddy Enes Kanter in Sunday's Game 1 loss to Portland, but he did some good scoring himself as well, shooting 8-for-14 from the field on his way to 17 points. Adams was a monster on the offensive glass, grabbing six rebounds, but he ended up needing one more to start the playoffs with a double-double. He also snatched three steals in the game. Adams had 11 points in the opening quarter when OKC went to him a lot, but he ended up in the passenger seat the rest of the way. There's potential for a big scoring night by Adams in the series, as Kanter tends to struggle defensively.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
