4 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans center Steven Adams (toe) has been ruled out for Thursday's contest against Oklahoma City due to continued issues with a toe sprain on his right foot. Adams returned from a one-game absence to log 13 minutes in a start versus the Nuggets on Wednesday, but he was clearly not himself. Willy Hernangomez figures to join the starting five and see elevated DFS appeal, while Jaxson Hayes should also get added run and can be seen as a punt play option due to what stands to be an increased workload. Adams' next chance to suit up comes Saturday against Minnesota.--Jesse Borek
