6 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Steven Matz (forearm) threw a 45-pitch bullpen session yesterday and felt good afterwards. Matz continues to recover from a nerve issue in his left forearm that sent him to the injured list, retroactive to May 5. The 27-year-old posted a 3.86 ERA through seven starts in 2019, while striking out 32 batters over 35 innings.
