5 years agoDetroit Pistons shooting guard/small forward Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk has been ruled out for Monday’s contest versus the Charlotte Hornets due to a hip ailment. Mykhailiuk’s absence will mark his fifth game in a row on the sidelines, further paving the way for Langston Galloway and Bruce Brown to see an expanded role on the wing. Mykhailiuk had been establishing himself as a legitimate cog in the rotation prior to his injury and in the post-Trade Deadline haze, figures to have a path at reestablishing himself. His next chance at taking the floor comes Wednesday against Orlando.--Jesse Borek
