T.J. Warren Collects Game-High 27 Points During Win
5 years agoIndiana Pacers small/power forward T.J. Warren may have been a game-time decision for Friday’s victory over the New York Knicks, but his decision to suit up seemed like a no-doubter as he dropped a game-best 27 points on 10-for-21 shooting. Warren closed out the first half last week with a 35-point barrage, as his role in the offense has now become unquestioned, even with Victor Oladipo having had his minutes cap removed. In addition to the scoring, Warren was all over the court snagging eight rebounds, adding three assists and two steals. There will be numerous mouths to feed offensively heading into Sunday’s matchup against Toronto, but Warren’s recent offensive output lends credence to the thought that he could see an even larger role down the stretch of the season.
